Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week 2024 expected to attract 400,000 visitors

(CPV) - The 3rd Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week will include dozens of programs and events taking place in Da Lat and Bao Loc cities and some districts in the Central Highlands province, promising to bring interesting experiences to local people and tourists.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the 2024 Lam Dong Tourism Golden Tourism Week will be held from May 31 to June 6 to welcome the summer travel season, stimulating tourism demand of the province, contributing to attracting more tourists to Da Lat – Lam Dong, and improving the quality of cultural and spiritual lives of local people.

The event, themed “Lam Dong – The Meeting Point of Flowers and Music”, will include nine main programs at the provincial level and 26 response programs in districts and cities.

The “Night in Da Lat” program to experience the night train ride and enjoy food and music on an ancient train carriage promises to attract tourists.

Programs promising to attract tourists within the framework of the Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week in 2024 include Da Lat Music Night Run; performances of folk arts and professional arts; space to introduce music and culture of ethnic groups in Lam Dong, space for delicious dishes in Da Lat; and “Night in Da Lat” program to experience the night train and enjoy food and music on the ancient train carriages of Da Lat.

Deputy Director of the Lam Dong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc said that the Lam Dong Tourism Golden Week will be attended by many tourism businesses, with high-season discount programs, new and unique tourism products and free music shows with youth stars.

This year’s edition is expected to welcome about 400,000 visitors./.
