In his opening speech, Chairman of the Ninh Binh People’s Committee Pham Quang Ngoc said that the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival continues to affirm the determination and efforts of the northern province in developing cultural industry; organizing activities to preserve and promote the values of national cultural heritage; promoting cultural exchanges between provinces and cities at home and abroad and creating unique cultural products to attract tourists.
Addressing the event, Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for External Relations, highlighted its significance in helping recreate glorious historical milestones of the nation.
He praised the provincial Party Committee, authorities and people for their efforts in inheriting and promoting the traditions of the ancestors, saying that with their will and aspiration, solidarity and creativeness, they have utilised their potential and advantages to overcome many difficulties and challenges, scoring important and comprehensive achievements in all fields
Following the success of the two editions in 2022 and 2023, the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival, from November 23-30, includes many colorful cultural activities, with high-quality art performances built in a vivid historical style with the idea of "Heritage Flow" from the historical journey of the Vietnamese people. This is the journey of establishing, moving and settling the capital of the emperors through thousands of years of history of building and defending the country.
Outdoor contemporary poetry exhibition space is a combination experience of enjoying tea, reciting poetry and listening to traditional folk music.
Street festival will be filled with folk colors with traditional crafts, old markets, ancient costumes, street art and electronic folk music festival with the intersection of sound and visual experience.
Organised on a national scale and imbued with national cultural identity, the festival spotlighted the identities of regions across the country, contributing to promoting cultural exchange and socio-economic development, and connecting the experience of people and tourists./.
