On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage (2014 - 2024), the northern province organizes the Ninh Binh Tourism Food Festival and Trang An - Cuc Phuong Hot Air Balloon Festival.
The Ninh Binh Tourism Food Festival 2024 is organized to introduce, perform and exchange culture and cuisine between districts, cities and culinary businesses in the province.
The opening ceremony of Ninh Binh culinary tourism will take place at 7:00 p.m. on October 18 at Ninh Binh Dinosaur Park, Square 3, Ninh Binh City, and will last until October 29.
The event is attracting the participation of eight districts and cities in the province and 100 booths of domestic and foreign enterprises. The main activities include regional culinary exhibition space and culinary tourism competition on October 24.
An array of activities in response to the event include artistic flower arrangement, English competition, cake making, running, children’s balancing, clay figurine making, chess, cooking sweet soup, mixing, and searching for tourism ambassadors for Ninh Binh tourism cuisine.
The event offers free entrance to visitors.
The Trang An - Cuc Phuong Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from October 26 to 29 with 35 hot air balloons and paragliders (13 hot air balloons and 22 paragliders) controlled by foreign pilots and the Hanoi Paragliding Club.
Within the framework of the festival, the organizers will arrange 120 booths displaying specialties from regions across the country, booths displaying gifts for tourists, and tourism booths of the provinces./.
