The international organization Skytrax has just announced the results of ranking the world’s airports in 2024. Vietnam has two airports honored in this list, Noi Bai and Da Nang.

Among them, Da Nang International Airport was named on the list for the first time, while Noi Bai International Airport appeared on the list for the sixth time.
Skytrax’s rankings are based on the opinions of millions of passengers from more than 100 countries for a series of specific criteria about service quality at international passenger terminals, convenience, comfort, language ability and attitude of staff.
Many important measures to improve quality have been applied at Noi Bai International Airport such as operation and technology to solve the problem of the number of passengers exceeding the designed capacity of its two terminals.
Non-aviation businesses and taxi companies are required to commit to ensuring service quality, applying strict penalties for violations and maintaining channels to receive reviews of passengers.
Similarly, Da Nang International Airport focuses on promoting Vietnamese culture, investing in installing miniatures imbued with local identity, bringing traditional elements into art performances such as the “The Heritage Road” program.
On January 1, 2024, the passenger terminal of Da Nang International Airport became the first and only terminal in Vietnam to be rated 5 stars according to Skytrax standards.
According to the result, the amenities highly appreciated by Skytrax are business class lounges, baby strollers, children’s playground, mother and baby rooms, shopping carts, prayer rooms, self-check-in counters, self-baggage counters, automatic immigration gates and automatic departure gates./.
