(CPV) - Tan Son Nhat International Airport will receive 4,280 flights with 686,718 passengers during the upcoming holidays from April 26 to May 1.

Of which, there are 1,602 international flights and 2,678 domestic flights during the holidays. On average, Tan Son Nhat Airport will receive 720 flights a day.
According to the airport, during the peak days of the holidays, April 26 and May 1, it will welcome about 125,000 passengers and 740 flights a day.
Tan Son Nhat International Airport expects to serve 125,000 passengers on peak days.
Aiming to serve the increasing travel demand during the holidays, Tan Son Nhat International Airport proactively met before the peak period and proposed unified plans with all units to ensure security work and absolute safety for all flights to and from the airport.
In addition, the airport arranged a force including members of the Youth Union of Tan Son Nhat International Airport and the Youth Union of Vietnam Aviation Academy to participate in supporting passengers in the security screening area, public lobby area during peak hours, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., from April 26 to May 1./.
