Promoting tourism of Taiwan (China) in Vietnam

Many Taiwanese (Chinese) tourism products will be introduced in Vietnam, creating opportunities for cooperation between travel agencies and destinations to attract two-way tourists.

The Taiwan (China) Tourism Bureau has organized a tourism promotion workshop with the participation of 28 travel agencies, hotels, resorts and souvenir businesses of Taiwan (China) and nearly 100 outbound tourism operators of Vietnam. The conference aims to strengthen cooperation, cultural exchange and tourism between Vietnam and Taiwan (China).
According to the Bureau, exchange cooperation between Taiwan (China) and Vietnam is becoming deeper. After Taiwan (China) implemented the project of simplifying visa application procedures for tourists in groups, the number of tourists to Vietnam has increased significantly, reaching 382,529 by 2023; 94% the number in 2019, before the COVID-19 epidemic.

At the conference, the Taiwan (China) Tourism Bureau, Crown Coastal Tourism Federation, Hoa Binh Island Geopark and Taiwanese (Chinese) airlines introduced the potential of destinations, cultural and tourism beauty of Taiwan (China) and support levels to help Vietnamese businesses better understand Taiwan’s (China) tourism resources and environment.
After the event, the Bureau and tourism businesses will participate in Vietnam International Travel Mart – VITM Hanoi 2024 at Hanoi International Convention and Exhibition Center from April 11 to 14.
In 2024, Taiwan (China) aims to welcome 12 million Vietnamese visitors./.
