Quang Ninh aims to greet more than 11 million tourists in 2022

Quang Ninh aims to attract 1.5 million visitors from now until the end of the year, and to greet 11.5 million visitors for the whole year.
Accordingly, Ha Long city expects to welcome 1.1 million visitors, Mong Cai 215,000 visitors and Uong Bi 600,000 visitors.

Aiming to develop the domestic market, the Quang Ninh tourism industry is organizing working programs to connect and stimulate Quang Ninh tourism in a number of provinces and cities, focusing on state and private economic groups, reputable large travel agencies and airlines.
In the 10 months of 2022, Quang Ninh greeted nearly 10 million tourists, a 3.55-fold rise, and tourism revenue increased nearly 4 fold compared to the same period last year.
Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh said that in the coming time, the province will direct localities to actively implement measures to promote and stimulate tourism; strengthen inspection over urban embellishment and ensure a safe tourist environment.
At the same time, the province continues to promote the connection of domestic and international routes to Van Don International Airport, realize plans to develop tourism activities along the Hanoi - Ha Long - Van Don - Mong Cai highway, and build appropriate tourism programs and products; attracting more domestic and international tourists to Quang Ninh./.
