On June 13, the 2nd Sea Tourism Festival, themed “Nha Trang Bay- sparkling pearl”, opened in Nha Trang City, the South – Central province of Khanh Hoa.

The event aims to honor the beauty of Nha Trang Bay, contributing to popularizing the beauty, potential, and strengths of Nha Trang, towards attracting more holiday-makers, and domestic and international investors, thus contributing to the locality’s socio-economic development.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of Nha Trang Beach Tourism Festival 2024, Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh shared that Nha Trang is striving to become an attractive coastal urban area to both international and domestic tourists, the gateway and heart of the South Central Coast and Central Highlands region with an increasingly synchronous infrastructure system.
At the opening ceremony, people and tourists enjoyed unique and vibrant art performances with the participation of popular artists and singers.
Through activities in the festival, Khanh Hoa wants to introduce to people and tourists the image of a safe, gentle, hospitable destination, a dynamic and modern land.
The four-day festival features a string of cultural and sports activities, including a 200-pavilion fair showcasing tourism products and cuisine.
After the festival, Nha Trang International Bay of Light Festival 2024 will be held on July 13-20. This will be the first drone light demonstration competition to appear in Vietnam with the participation of 4 teams from China, the Republic of Korea, France and the United Arab Emirates./.
