International cruise ship Spectrum of the Seas on February 20 carried more than 4,000 multinational tourists to dock at Tan Cang-Cai Mep port, Phu My town in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.
Saigontourist Travel Company is responsible for welcoming the cruise ship at the port and taking the tourists to visit the coastal city of Vung Tau, experience the western region of My Tho and Tien Giang rivers and explore vibrant Ho Chi Minh City.

Since the beginning of the year, many international cruise ships docked at Vietnamese ports, taking thousands of tourists to experience exciting cross-Vietnam journeys. This is a positive signal, heading towards an optimistic year for the international tourism industry in general and cruise tourism in particular in Vietnam.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luu, General Director of Saigontourist Travel Services Company, the international cruise tourism segment is showing rapid recovery and growth in the 2023-2024 cruise tourism season.
In the first 2 months of 2024 alone, Saigontourist welcomed and served 10 international cruise ships belonging to Royal Caribbean Group, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises, and Crystal Cruises to Vietnam, bringing over 30,000 international visitors, an increase of 15% over the same period in 2023.
Following Spectrum of the Seas, Saigontourist will welcome Celebrity Solstice back on a 5-day journey to Ha Long, Thua Thien Hue, Ba Ria-Vung Tau from February 22-26; and provide maritime agency services for Crystal Symphony cruise ship, belonging to Crystal Cruises, coming to Vietnam from February 20-25.
In 2024, cruise passengers are expected to increase by 10-15% compared to 2023. And international shipping lines are increasing cruises to the Asia-Pacific, including destinations in Vietnam./.
