Online travel platform Agoda on October 24 announced the list of new emerging destinations in Vietnam (Vietnam's New Horizons) which attract increasing attention from both domestic and foreign tourists.

Tam Dao resort in the northern mountainous province of Vinh Phuc topped the list with search traffic increasing by 279% over the same period last year.
Located only 80km from Hanoi, visitors can easily travel to the resort by car, bus, motorbike, or even mountain bike. Surrounded by mountainous scenery and many hotels and homestays, this beautiful resort has become a refreshing destination that attracts many people from Hanoi.
Bac Ninh, the northern spiritual heartland, recorded a 234% increase in search volume. Located only 40 km from Hanoi, Bac Ninh offers countless choices for tourists who love culture and art. The city is famous for its traditional festivals that take place throughout the year, often held on the grounds of or around pagodas and temples in the area.
Other destinations include Sam Son coastal city in the central province of Thanh Hoa, 228%; and Phu Quy - a small island off the coast of Binh Thuan province.
The coastal city of Quy Nhon with its romantic beaches and unique cuisine and Cat Ba Island in the northern city of Hai Phong are also included in the list.
Vu Ngoc Lam, Director of Agoda in Vietnam, said that Agoda wants to take advantage of this opportunity to introduce new places and find out what attracts those who love to explore destinations that few tourists have come to./.
