Most local accommodation service establishments have stopped accepting guests from April 27-29, because they are already fully booked.
Currently, most establishments only accept reservations on April 30 and May 1.
According to Deputy Director of the Thua Thien-Hue Department of Tourism Hoang Phuoc Nhat, the locality will welcome a large number of tourists from provinces and cities with many tourism stimulus packages such as discounts on room prices, tour prices, and purchase prices of specialty products and souvenirs.
The central province expected to greet an estimated 65,000 visitors during the 5-day holidays, of which, international visitors are estimated at about 17,000. Revenue is estimated at about 101 billion VND.
According to reports, on April 28, the booking capacity at accommodation establishments reached the highest rate with over 90%.
Establishments with high room occupancy are Laguna Lang Co, Vinpearl Melía Hue, Huong Giang, Cherish, Mondial Hue, Thanh Lich Boutique Hue, White Lotus and Emm Hue.
The number of tourists staying overnight is estimated at 45,000, of which, international tourists are estimated at more than 32%, Nhat added.
Not only luxury hotels, many small and medium-sized motels and homestays in the province recorded full bookings in the first days of the holiday season./.
