Trains connecting Thua Thien-Hue with Da Nang to be launched

The railway industry will operate trains connecting the central province of Thua Thien-Hue to Da Nang and vice versa to serve the travel demand of people and tourists, said Vietnam Railway Corporation on March 18.
Accordingly, from March 26, 2024, Vietnam Railways Corporation will organize 2 pairs of daily trains with numbers HD1/HD2 and HD3/HD4 between Thua Thien-Hue and Da Nang. Train HD1 will depart from Hue station at 7h45 and arrive at Da Nang station at 10h35, while train HD3 will depart from Hue station at 14h25 and arrive in Da Nang at 17h40.

Train HD2 will depart from Da Nang station at 7h50 and arrive at Hue station at 11h05, while train HD4 will depart from Da Nang station at 15h00 and arrive at Hue station at 17h45.
Along the journey, the trains will stop at Lang Co station for tourists to visit Lang Co Bay, one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
On the routes opening day March 26, the railway will only organize one pair of trains, HD1 departing from Hue and HD4 departing from Da Nang.
In the immediate future, the train will have 5 carriages with air-conditioned soft seats and a community carriage serving local cultural and culinary programs./.
