Vietjet opens air service between HCM City and Vientiane, Laos

The budget carrier Vietjet Air has opened a flight connecting Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City with Vientiane (Laos), expanding opportunities for cooperation in economic development, tourism and cultural exchange between the two neighboring countries of Vietnam-Laos.

The HCM City-Vientiane route serves passengers with a frequency of 4 round trips per week, on every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, bringing a complete flying experience to the land of “a million elephants” with 1 hour 45 minutes flight per leg.
Vietjet Deputy General Director Nguyen Thanh Son said that the air route not only shortens travel time between Vietnam and Laos, but also expands the connection between Vientiane and destinations in the region and the world along with Vietjet's international flight network.
Vientiane is both the capital and largest city, the political and economic center of Laos, located on the banks of the Mekong River with poetic and ancient beauty with famous architectural relics, pagodas, temples and towers, many local festivals and unique cuisine.
Meanwhile, HCM City is an outstanding economic, cultural and tourist center with many unique cultural features, bustling modern lifestyle and convenient connections to all Vietnamese destinations, as well as international ones./.
