Vietnam Airlines adds flights to serve Visit Vietnam Year in Dien Bien

Specifically, during this time, the national flag carrier will have 2 round-trip flights between Hanoi and Dien Bien. In particular, flights VN1804 and VN1806 depart from Hanoi at 13:05 and 14:05, while flights VN1805 and VN1807 depart from Dien Bien at 14:40 and 15:40.

The airline’s additional flights aim to accompany the Government and localities in promoting the Visit Vietnam Year 2024, serving as an effective bridge to bring tourists to explore the Northwest region.

With the theme “Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless Experience” associated with the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Visit Vietnam Year 2024 - Dien Bien will have 169 attractive programs and activities taking place throughout the year. The highlight of the year is the Hoa Ban festival with the theme "Returning to the Hoa Ban region” scheduled to open on March 16.

At the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to participate in many interesting activities and experiences such as offering incense to the martyrs’ temple at Dien Bien battlefield; admire the show of legendary scenes, history and culture of the Thai ethnic people; experience the highland cultural space; and enjoy the Xoe Thai art and the Mong flute festival.

The Visit Vietnam Year 2024 - Dien Bien is expected to attract 1.3 million visitors./.
