Vietnam Airlines doubles number of flights in celebration of Dien Bien Phu Victory

Welcoming the first flight landing at Dien Bien airport after completing renovation and upgrading.

The flight frequency increases by nearly twice compared to the current flight schedule.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating 11 flights a week between Hanoi and Dien Bien, a sharp increase compared to the first phase when the airport first reopened. All flights are operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines is also now the official transportation sponsor of the Visit Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024. The event, themed “Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless Experience”, is a typical cultural-economic-social event, with a national and international scale, associated with the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - 2024).
