Vietnam Airlines opens direct flights to Munich

The move aims to constantly expand the flight network, connecting Vietnam with many famous destinations around the world.

Vietnam Airlines will open direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Munich (Germany) from October 2024.

All flights will be operated by environmentally friendly Boeing 787 wide-body aircraft. Air tickets to Munich are currently on sale on the website, mobile applications, ticket offices and official agents of Vietnam Airlines.

Specifically, the carrier will operate flights between Hanoi and Munich with a frequency of two flights per week, departing from Hanoi on Fridays and Sundays; while return flights depart from Munich on Mondays and Saturdays.

Along with that, the air route between Ho Chi Minh City and Munich will have one flight per week, departing on Monday and returning on Tuesday. From December 2024, Vietnam Airlines will add one more flight between the two cities, with departure from Ho Chi Minh City every Wednesday and from Munich every Thursday.

With this, the carrier will operate a total of four routes from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to two major German cities: Frankfurt and Munich./.
