The Taiwan (China) Tourism Bureau on October 2 met with airlines and tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City to promote two-way tourism between the two sides.

According to the Taiwan (China) Tourism Bureau, the open entry visa policy is convenient for tourists, especially those visiting in groups through travel agencies. Individual tourists who have been to European countries or the US can apply for an online visa (E-visa) to enter Taiwan and receive quick approval.
In addition, this territory has a preferential policy for groups of tourists buying tours, in which every four tourists buying tours are only charged three.
Ms. Huynh Phan Phuong Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietravel Tourism Company, said that the unit is one of the Vietnamese travel agencies bringing the most tourists to Taiwan (China). In the opposite direction, Phu Quoc Island in the southern province of Kien Giang greeted numerous Taiwanese (China) tourists.
On the occasion of the National Day holiday on September 2, Vietravel sold two two-way charter trips to bring Taiwanese tourists to Phu Quoc and Vietnamese tourists to Taiwan (China), with 460 tourists. The tours lasted from August 30 to September 3.
In October alone, Vietravel arranged tours for dozens of Vietnamese tourist groups visiting and traveling in Taiwan (China).
Similarly, Viet Tourism Media Joint Stock Company also brought many Vietnamese tourist groups to Taiwan (China). Mr. Pham Anh Vu, Communications Director of Viet Tourism Media Joint Stock Company, commented that Taiwan (China) is a potential market, with many beautiful landscapes, favored by Vietnamese tourists.
According to data from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau (China), 382,529 Vietnamese tourists visited Taiwan (China) in 2023, equal to 94% compared to 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic./.
