The voting program for “Attractive tourist destinations in Ho Chi Minh (HCM) City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta in 2024” is one of the key strategies to promote cooperation in developing tourism in the southern region.

The HCM City Department of Tourism has announced a vote for attractive tourist destinations in the southern region in 2024.
In his speech at the event, Deputy Director of the HCM City Department of Tourism Bui Thi Ngoc Hieu emphasized that the program contributes to preserving and promoting traditional culture and unique identities to promote, advertise and introduce destinations of the southern hub and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, in order to link up to build typical products suitable to market demand and orient the development of tourism products for domestic and foreign tourists.
The organizers hope that the program will become a quality brand of the tourism cooperation program between HCM City and 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta until 2025, with a vision to 2030. Currently, 126 tourist destinations have registered to participate in the voting program.
The voting program includes four phases, of which the fourth phase will take place next November. The organizers will select and organize a Gala to announce the results, award the logo, certificates and honorary titles.
Some HCM City destinations on the list of attractive destinations include: Ho Chi Minh Museum, Ho Chi Minh City History Museum, Southern Women's Museum, Binh Tay Market, Ben Thanh Market, Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Park, Thieng Lieng Community Tourism and Cu Chi Tunnels Historical Site./.
