Five months: Quang Ninh has over 1,000 newly-formed enterprises

Quang Ninh had 1,041 newly-established enterprises in the first five months, with a total registered capital of VND8.963 trillion, a 20.4% rise in number of enterprises and a 142% increase in capital compared to the same period last year, according to provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

In addition, the northern province saw 37 shuttered enterprises recovering operation, down 5%, 19 enterprises dissolving, down 24%, and 44 enterprises halting operation, down 12%.
So far, the locality has had 16,175 enterprises with a total registered capital of VND156.5 trillion.
Aiming to speed up the establishment of enterprises, Quang Ninh has carried out many solutions such as intensifying exchanges with enterprises from the provincial level to district, town and city levels; organizing coffee program with businesspersons to directly listen to petitions, proposals to remove difficulties for enterprises; and effectively realizing Resolution 35/NQ-CP on supporting and developing enterprises by 2020./.
