The Bac Ninh Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education has organized a meeting to announce socio-economic development in the nine months and preparations for Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Of the nine-month GRDP growth, the industry-construction area increased by 5.76%, the service sector rose by 5.96% and the agriculture, forestry and seafood area soared by 2.33%.
The industry-construction continue to play a key role, accounting for the highest proportion in the province’s economic structure, while the service sector continues to develop, accounting for an increasingly high proportion.
Trade and service activities enjoyed high growth. Total retail goods and service revenue was estimated at 74,778 billion VND, up 9.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, retail sales of goods posted 55,588 billion VND, up 6.6%; revenue from accommodation and catering activities was 6,859 billion VND, up 4.8%, and service revenue was 11,931 billion VND, up 23%.
Aiming to achieve the above economic goals, the Bac Ninh Party Committee and the People’s Committee have offered many solutions with the focus on firm leadership and direction close to reality. Typically, the work of inspection, public reception, complaint and denunciation settlement, and anti-corruption and negativity prevention has been well implemented.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Loi, Head of the Bac Ninh Party Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Education, announced important information on preparing for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term./.
