Bac Ninh ranks 4th in ICT Index

The Department of Information Technology and Communications Industry under the Ministry of Information and Communications in cooperation  with the Vietnam Association for Information Technology has just announced a report on the Readiness Index for Development and Application of Information and Communications Technology in Vietnam (ICT Index) in 2023.

Bac Ninh has risen to 4th place nationwide in terms of ICT Index 2023.

This result reflects the province’s continuous efforts in promoting the development and application of information and communications technology in the locality.

Specifically, the component indexes in Bac Ninh’s ICT Index include technical infrastructure index (0.86 points); Human resources infrastructure index (0.49 points) and Information technology application index (0.59 points).

The ICT Index 2023 report also shows the leadership of Da Nang, followed by Can Tho and Quang Ninh. In the bloc of ministries and branches with public services, the Ministry of Finance ranked first. Techcombank leads the group of commercial banks and Vietnam Electricity Group leads the group of economic groups and corporations.

The ICT Index report is conducted annually to provide information on the current status of development and application of information and communication technology in Vietnam and provide assessments and rankings on the level of readiness for development and application of information and communication technology based on collected data./.
