In 2024, the city’s economic situation continues to maintain its growth momentum, with many improvements. The gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in 2024 is estimated to increase by 7.51% from the previous year, ranking 2nd among the five centrally-run cities and 29th nationwide. Budget revenue exceeds the estimate by 25%.

This year, accommodation establishments expect to serve more than 10.3 million visitors, an increase of 39% year on year. Revenue from accommodation and tourism is estimated at more than 18,000 billion VND, an increase of 25% year on year, and retail sales of goods are estimated at VND 74,800 billion, an increase of 11% year on year.

Da Nang has also issued business registration certificates to 3,372 enterprises, branches and representative offices. The number of enterprises returning to operation increased by 1.2% over the same period.

The city focuses on accelerating the progress of establishing, appraising, approving and announcing zoning plans. To date, all nine urban zoning zones and six out of ten functional zoning zones have been approved./.
