Doosan Vina exports 9 modules weighing 1,900 tons to the US

Doosan Enerbility Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Doosan Vina), headquartered in Dung Quat Economic Zone, in the central province of Quang Ngai, has successfully exported 9 modules weighing 1,900 tons to the Golden Triangle Polymers Factory, located in Texas (USA).

Specifically, the 9 modules are part of the Golden Triangle Polymers (GTPP) project signed between Doosan Vina and the ZDJV general contractor joint venture and CP Chem investor on February 7, 2023. The project includes 18 modules with a total weight of 4,589 tons. The largest module is 16.5m high, 55.4m long, 10m wide and weighs 386 tons.
Currently, the remaining 9 modules have also been 93% completed and are in the process of pressure testing, installing electrical troughs and related equipment for timely handover to customers on April 16, as expected.
According to Doosan Vina General Director Kim Hyo Tae, achieving the first module supply contract for the US market is the pride of Doosan Vina, contributing towards sustainable development and a low-carbon future, creating products with 25% lower greenhouse emissions than similar facilities in Europe and America.
So far, Doosan Vina has been producing 140 modules for factories in the US, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Singapore and Qatar.
These include 39 modules for Ruwais Refinery plant in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), 35 modules Sarawak Methanol plant in Malaysia, 26 modules for Cariflex IR Latex Asia plant in Singapore, and 18 modules for Golden Triangle Polymers plant in the US.
The company is currently producing 4 modules for the North Field Expansion Project EPC-2 project and 18 modules for the Ras Laffan Petrochemical project in Qatar./.
