The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Ba Vi district opened the exhibition fair for rural industrial products and OCOP products in Ba Vi district, on December 12.

The fair drew the participation of rural industrial establishments, export enterprises, associations, professional associations and traditional craft villages in Ba Vi district, with a scale of 120 booths.
Director of the Hanoi Center for Industrial Promotion and Industrial Development Consulting Hoang Minh Lam said the event aims to help enterprises and production establishments promote products associated with tourism activities and preserve local traditional culture.
The fair promises to be a place for consumers to access unique, typical and strong products of traditional craft villages in Ba Vi and districts and towns in the city, contributing to strengthening the connection between producers, distributors and consumers.
With the criterion of one product - one commune, in recent years, Ba Vi has selected many OCOP products based on traditional and typical products that suit the tastes of consumers.
The district's rural industrial products have contributed to building new-style rural areas and increasing people’s income. The socio-economic situation in the area has improved day by day and the poverty rate has decreased.
The fair will run until December 16, at Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town, Ba Vi District./.
