The Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority (Hepza) has continuously cut the time to handle administrative procedures to accompany businesses, especially as the COVID-19 epidemic occurred in Ho Chi Minh and the whole country.
Overview of the conference

The information was emphasized by Mr. Pham Thanh Truc, Deputy Manager of Hepza, at a recent meeting between the authority and businesses of Tan Binh, Vinh Loc, Tan Tao, Le Minh Xuan, Le Minh Xuan 3 and An Ha industrial zones (IZ).

Earlier, Hepza cut 30% of the processing time for 3 administrative procedures, including: the time for granting investment registration certificates for projects not subject to investment policy approval from 15 days to 10 days; the time for issuance of investment registration certificates for projects not subject to approval of investment policies from 10 days to 7 days; and the time for the request explanation report, changing the demand for foreign workers from 9 days to 7 days.

For the receipt and settlement of administrative procedures within the same day, Hepza continues to carry out 7 administrative procedures until the end of 2022.

At the conference, businesses also reflected on some shortcomings such as environmental treatment, water drainage, investment capital adjustment procedures, and fire prevention inspection. They also complained that time to resolve administrative procedures in some units was still delayed, affecting business operations./.
