The HCM City Department of Industry and Trade on December 16 launched a program to select 50 outstanding enterprises with key brands and products on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2025).
The program is dedicated to enterprises headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City which have been established for at least 10 years in the industrial and service sectors, or 5 years in the agricultural sector.
The program also prioritizes enterprises which are closely associated with the formation and development of the city and have made positive and outstanding contributions to the city’s economic, cultural and social development.

Enterprises participating in the vote have brands and products belonging to the following main industry groups: Industry (mechanics, rubber - plastics, food - foodstuffs, information technology - electronics - telecommunications, textiles, pharmaceuticals), agriculture (crops, livestock, aquaculture), services (commerce, transportation, warehousing, accommodation and catering services, information and communication, financial activities, banking and insurance, real estate business, science and technology, education and training, healthcare).
The voting program will be held until March 2025. The commendation ceremony will take place in April 2025.
On the same afternoon, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade also informed about the second phase of the City Sale Program in 2024. The program will take place from December 18, 2024 to January 1, 2025 at shopping centers in the city to contribute to realizing the goal of stimulating consumption at the end of the year.
The event is expected to draw the participation of more than 500 brands./.
