Noi Bai international airport has said it greeted nearly 400,000 passengers during the first five days of the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, from January 22 to 26.

Notably, just before the day of returning to work (January 26), the volume of flights and passengers through Noi Bai continued to increase compared to the previous days.
According to the flight schedule, on January 26, there was an estimated 540 flights (156 international flights and 380 domestic ones). Passenger output was estimated at about 85,000 passengers, of which domestic passengers reached 63,000 and international visitors numbered 22,000.
On January 25 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), the volume of flights and passengers passing through Noi Bai was higher than 3 days earlier. On January 25, more than 500 flights took off or landed, including 151 international flights and 363 domestic ones; passenger volume was estimated at about 80,000, including over 58,000 domestic passengers and more than 21,000 international ones.
There were 467 flights, with an output of over 63,000 passengers on the first day of the Lunar New Year, while there were more than 500 flights on the second day of Tet, transporting nearly 80,000 passengers, and nearly 500 flights on the third day of Tet, transporting more than 79,000 passengers./.
