VBSP grasps, implements Directive 39-CT/TW

VBSP General Director Duong Quyet Thang spoke at the conference.

After 10 years of implementing Directive 40-CT/TW dated November 22, 2014 of the PCC Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership over social policy credit, the VBSP system has always closely followed the Party’s leadership policies and guidelines, the Government's directions; closely coordinated with ministries, branches; local Party committees, authorities, and socio-political organizations to resolutely direct the implementation of social credit. Thanks to that, tasks and objectives set out in Directive 40-CT/TW have been basically completed; and social credit activities in the 2014 - 2024 period have achieved many important achievements and results.

Promoting the results achieved in implementing Directive 40-CT/TW, on October 30, 2024, the PCC Secretariat issued Directive 39-CT/TW on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period.

At the conference, General Director Duong Quyet Thang emphasized that the Directive creates the premise and basis to continue effectively implementing social policy credit, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development in the near future.

Aiming to effectively implement Directive 39-CT/TW, VBSP General Director Duong Quyet Thang requested units in the system to proactively coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to advise local Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the organization of research, study, dissemination of the contents of Directive 39-CT/TW to all Party members, cadres and people to raise awareness of the position and role of social policy credit; the role and responsibility of Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations towards social policy credit./.
