Vietnam - China trade and tourism fair to open on November 26

The organizers of the Vietnam-China Border Economic, Trade and Tourism Fair on November 14 said that the fair will take place from November 26 to December 1.
The fair is co-organized by the People's Committee of Lao Cai province (Vietnam) and the government of Yunnan province (China) in Hekou (Yunnan) and Lao Cai (Vietnam).
So far, the two sides have coordinated to organize 24 fairs. In 2024, the fair will take place in Hekou District (Yunnan).
The fair, themed “Sharing Development - Cooperation for Mutual Benefit”, aims to strengthen economic cooperation and cultural exchange between border localities, creating opportunities for businesses to introduce products, seek partners and expand markets.
The fair is divided into two areas: Chinese Pavilion and Vietnamese Pavilion. The Chinese pavilion covers 5,500 m2 while the Vietnamese one has an area of 3,800 m2; with a total of 500-600 standard booths.
In addition to exhibition and sales activities, within the framework of the fair, there will be many activities, such as a meeting with delegations of the two provinces of Lao Cai and Yunnan; economic and trade development talks; a conference on cross-border economic, trade and logistics cooperation and a conference on investment attraction.
Mr. Nguyen Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the Lao Cai Department of Planning and Investment, said that Vietnam is expected to have a national pavilion, a pavilion of Lao Cai, and pavilions of units supported for trade promotion and pavilions of enterprises./.
