Vietnam exports 23,000 tons of 5a1 lump coal to South Africa market

On May 7, at Cam Pha Port (Quang Ninh province), the Cua Ong Coal Selecting Company under the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group welcomed Tan Binh 279 ship, received 23,000 tons of 5a1 lump coal for export to South Africa.

Since the beginning of the year 2023, this is the first time that the 5a1 lump coal of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group has been exported to the South African market.
It is expected that from now until the end of May 2023, the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group will export more than 60,000 tons of coal of different types.
The promotion of coal exports to this market opens up opportunities to help the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group increase coal sales, while balancing and ensuring the exploitation and delivery of raw coal from mines in Cam Pha area./.
