According to Cushman & Wakefield, HCMC stands out with its dense and young population, and residents have easy access to medical, financial and residential services. The city is gradually catching up with other countries in the region with recent social and economic improvements.

Meanwhile, Hanoi’s highlights include higher levels of gender equality, affordable housing and transport costs. Hanoi has also achieved some improvements in education, reduced emissions and seized many investment opportunities in initiatives to help increase urban integration.

The Inclusive Cities Barometer evaluates the inclusiveness of 44 cities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and 35 APAC cities, based on nearly 9,000 data points, 110 metrics across 4 dimensions and 12 subdimensions.

This report aims to promote dialogue on the impact of real estate activity on urban integration and the social fabric of cities. According to representatives of Cushman & Wakefield, inclusive cities will attract more talent and promote innovation, leading to investment and economic growth./.
