The diplomat said the General Secretary’s vision, wisdom, and overall direction and guidance for the country’s growth have been well laid out and developed.
According to Ambassador Arya, Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development, solidarity of the national people and working together for the future of the country are well recognised and widely respected around the world
“The depth of his contribution is very well respected, very well regarded in Vietnam and around the world,” Arya said.
The ambassador also expressed his impression on the Party General Secretary’s vision with the bamboo school of diplomacy, saying that the vision had been laid out in his various speeches on the bamboo school of diplomacy.
His vision of the bamboo school of diplomacy is a very well thought through and a very wise step for leading the foreign policy of Vietnam, Arya said, adding that “the bamboo school of diplomacy as elaborated by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong is really a very important aspect of that principle.”
Besides, the diplomat hailed General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s contributions to the development of the friendship and the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.
Regarding his sentiment to the General Secretary, Arya highlighted the late leader’s ability of thinking very thoroughly and systematically and planning a path for Vietnam's national growth and progress
He mentioned the book the General Secretary had published about a year ago.
According to him, it contains the collection of the Party leader’s thoughts in different areas.
“So I think the fact that he had a vision for the overall governance of the country, he had the vision for economic development, the vision for agriculture, the vision for industry, the vision for workers, the vision for international relations, and the vision for the culture and identity of Vietnamese people,” the ambassador said.
He said he is so deeply impressed by the way the Party leader had overall steering of Vietnam's growth and progress, saying “this has been a window for me to understand Vietnam and to understand the vision of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.”
“I personally feel that he has been a very strong driving force for achievements over the last few decades of Vietnam's path. And the vision that he has laid will be continued to, and has put Vietnam on a path.”
The General Secretary's devotion has contributed to developing that path of Vietnam's progress and growth over the last decades, Ambassador Arya affirmed./.
