Topping the list suggested by the Indian newspaper is Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital of Vietnam's civilization. Hanoi contains a heroic history and rich culture, as well as wonderful street food.

The Times of India suggests that visitors should take part in street food tours or visit French-style villas, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison and the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

The northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, with its beautiful natural scenery, is the second must-see destination in Vietnam.

"Visitors can visit villages of the Dao Do, H'Mong and other ethnic minorities, as well as markets and eco-stays to open a window into local life with timeless traditional craft. On the way, don't forget to stop by the brilliant rice fields in Mu Cang Chai."

The article in the Times of India also suggests many other famous destinations, including Pu Luong nature reserve, Ha Long Bay, Hue City, Da Nang, Hoi An, Ninh Van Bay, Da Lat, the Mekong Delta River region and Con Dao.

Ho Chi Minh City, home to great street food, is also a place tourists should not miss when visiting Vietnam, according to the famous newspaper.

Home to 99 million people with a coastline stretching along the country from North to South, there are many things that tourists can discover when coming to Vietnam, the article concludes./.
