Iranian media highlights Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman’s visit

On August 9, the Iranian media continued to publish information and articles about the official visit of Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue to this country at the invitation of the President of the Iranian National Assembly Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

Titled "Iran wishes for closer international cooperation with Vietnam", the article on the homepage of Iran's TASNIM news agency, presented in Persian, Arabic and English, said at the meeting with Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on August 8, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi especially emphasized the importance of further tightening cooperation between Iran and Vietnam in both the region and the international arena.

Accordingly, the two countries need to jointly strengthen the interests of each other through increasingly strong cooperative relations.

Meanwhile, Press TV quoted President Ibrahim Raisi as saying that the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries has not been commensurate with the good development of political relations. President Ibrahim Raisi believed that the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue would be an important turning point in promoting economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.

Titled "Iranian President affirms that the spirit of independence and the pursuit of self-reliance are common values between the two peoples", the article in 12 different languages on the homepage of the IRNA news agency quoted many important statements of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi in a meeting with National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and the Vietnamese delegation on the evening of August 8.

Accordingly  the Iranian President expressed his wish that the two countries promote cooperation, and exploit each other's strengths to develop together and bring benefits to the people and the two countries./.
