Coast guards salute the flag of Vietnam at Paracel

 Nearly 3 weeks after China’s illegal deployment of the oil rig in the sea area that belongs to Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone, the situation has not improved as China increases its forces to escort, pursue and collide with Vietnamese vessels.

 However, Vietnam Coast Guard soldiers have not wavered in their determination to protect national sovereignty integrity.

 A solemn national flag salute was carried out at sea in the area that belongs to Vietnam’s Paracel archipelago.

All coast guard cadres and soldiers on vessel 8003 swear 10 oaths, confirming their determination to struggle for national sovereignty, despite difficulties.

The soldiers voiced words of determination. Among the group are soldiers who postponed their domestic affairs in their devotion to the struggle for national sovereignty integrity.

The Vietnam Coast Guard is determined in their request that China withdraw all of their forces from Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone while maintaining peace.
