(CPV) – On May 26th, a delegation of press agencies set off to Hoang Sa (Paracel Islands) where China has engaged in perverse actions violating Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty.

Before setting off, the delegation had been informed that a Chinese vessel had rammed and sunk a Vietnamese fishing boat. This information angered all members of the delegation so they decided to hold a field trip to the area right away to witness China’s perversity. They had decided to directly support and stand side by side with the Vietnam Coast Guard, fishery resources surveillance group and fishermen, to promote and protect national sea and island sovereignty.
According to the latest information from the Vietnam Coast Guard, at 10am on May 27th, China moved Haiyang Shiyou-981 23 nautical miles east-northeast from the previous location. China used many vessels to protect and obstruct Vietnamese law enforcement ships.
Currently, Vietnamese law enforcement ships are closely monitoring China’s actions on the East Sea./.
