Documentary films about Vietnam to screen in US

Several documentary films about Vietnam will be screened at universities in the US by the Institute for Vietnamese Culture and Education (IVCE) on October 3rd-18th.

The program includes three films: “Little stories in the big sea” directed by Phan Huyen Thu, “Into the ocean” directed by Le Ngoc Thanh and Le Duc Hai, “General Giap” and a presentation on Vietnamese sea trade in the 17th and 18th centuries will be screened at 15 large universities in the US.

The program aims to help Overseas Vietnamese student and the American people further understand Vietnam’s sovereignty over the sea and islands.

All spending on the invitation of Vietnamese directors of the documentary films go to the US to meet and exchange with the audience will be supported by IVCE and the Vietnamese Student Association in the US./.
