Expatriates in Laos support Vietnamese forces protecting nation’s sovereignty over sea and islands

A ceremony was held at the headquarter of the State Commission on Overseas Vietnamese on October 20th to hand over USD7,500 from the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Savannakhet province, Laos to support the forces protecting of the nation’s sovereignty over sea and islands.

Mr. Tran Cong Thinh, Head of the Office of the State Commission on Overseas Vietnamese, received the amount and promised to transfer the money to the fund to intensify the strength of the forces protecting the nation’s sovereignty over sea and islands in the shortest time.

Although the living condition of the Overseas Vietnamese in Savannakhet is still difficult, they still look toward the fatherland and share hardships with the forces protecting the nation’s sovereignty over sea and island./.
