Vietnamese citizens in Australia raise fund to support the homeland’s sea and islands

More than AUD3,600 has been raised by overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese representative offices in Sydney, Australia to support the “For beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” club on November 11th.
At a event, Ms. Truong My Hoa, former Vice State President and Head of the club, talked about the operation of the “ For beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” club established by the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund. She also expressed her hope that patriotism and national unity would continue to be promoted in future.
She also informed that the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund has built two primary schools on Truong Sa island district with money raised by the “For beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa” club.
Participants at the event suggested to organizing more fundraising activities such as cultural exchanges or art performances./.
