Exhibition on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos

An exhibition titled “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa of Vietnam – Historical and legal evidences” opened on July 29th at the Long An provincial Childen's Cultural Palace.

Co-organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Long An People’s Committee, the event includes nearly 100 documents, materials, publications and artifacts with their authenticity corroberated by domestic and foreign scholars.

The martials on the “Hoang Sa and Truong Sa in the heart of Vietnam and international friends” deeply showed the special attention from the Party and State, the army, social and political organizations, and overseas Vietnamese, with practical activities to defend national sovereignty over the sea and islands.

The exhibition also showcased four atlases and 30 maps which were published by the Chinese authorities, confirming the historical and legal evidence of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the archipelagos.

The event attracted hundreds of visitors on the opening day. It is scheduled to wrap up on August 2nd./.
