Tet goods transported to officers and soldiers on DK1 platforms

The ships Truong Sa 10 and Truong Sa 21 of the Naval Region 2 High Command on December 26 departed to visit officers and soldiers on duty on DK1 platforms, ships on duty, and agencies and units stationed in Con Dao district of the southern province of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, on the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year Festival.

The delegations on the ships includes representatives from the Defence and Security Education Centre of Vietnam National University HCMC, the club “For Homeland Sea and Islands”, and reporters from press agencies nationwide. The delegations were led by Colonel Pham Quyet Tien, Vice Commander of the Naval Region 2 High Command and Colonel Nguyen Viet Anh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Naval Region 2 High Command respectively.
The two ships are carrying more than 500 gift packages and other goods provided by the Ministry of Defence, the Navy Force, the Navy Region 2 High Command, and those donated by businesses, organizations, and individuals to send to officers and soldiers on duty.
The journeys are scheduled to prolong 13-15 days./.
