Ho Chi Minh city leaders praise outstanding officials and soldiers for sea and island sovereignty protection

Apart from honoring officials and naval soldiers, border guards and fisheries surveillance officers, who are on duty to protect the inviolable border, the sea and islands of the country, the program also strengthens dissemination and upholds the patriotism of the people in the city.

The officials and soldiers have shared their memories and hardships in implementing their tasks and shown their pride as well as determination to accomplish the task of firmly protecting the border and sovereignty of the sea and islands of the nation.

Speaking at the event, Nguyen Hoang Nang, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh city Fatherland Front Committee appreciated the courage and creativity of the outstanding officials and soldiers from the Naval Zone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, submarine brigades, border guards, coastguards and the Vietnam fisheries surveillance force at the meeting, as well as officials and soldiers who are on duty.

He expressed confidence that the officials and soldiers would implement their glorious tasks well and the city would accompany with them in implementing the tasks./.
