Over VND33 billion raised for sea and island fund

Accordingly, the city Confederation of Labour, the city Women’s Association, the city Department of Education and Training, Saigon Giai Phong (Saigon Liberation) newspaper, the city Television and the city Radio, in many forms of communications, actively disseminated information about the activities among people, showing their responsibility towards the country’s sea and islands.

In 2015, people in the city donated over VND33 billion to the fund for sea and island, making a contribution to caring for sovereignty protection forces as well as for the forces’ relatives.

With their efforts, many individuals and organizations with excellent contribution to disseminating information about the nation’s sea and islands and encouraging assistance for the sea and islands on March 30^th were presented with certificates of merit from the city and navy arm./.
