Nearly VND26 billion collected by fund "For beloved Spratly islands"

The Hanoi Fatherland Front on April 19th received over VND2.8 billion from agencies in the city in donations to the "For beloved Spratly islands" fund.

Of which, Long Bien district donated VND1.5 billion, Hanoi Police donated over VND1.2 billion, while VND100 million came from Hanoi Tourism Bloc Party Committee.
Receiving the donation, President of the Hanoi Fatherland Front Vu Hong Khanh expressed appreciation for the heart of the people, armed forces and officials of the city, expressing his hope that all classes of people would continue to support the fund and look towards Spratly islands by practical activities.
The donation has raised the amount of commitments and collection to the fund to VND25.711 billion so far./.
