Pham Ngoc Thuong elected Head of Lang Son provincial People’s Committee

In the term, the Lang Son provincial People’s Council successfully fulfilled its function representing voters to address key issues of the locality, connecting voters and the State, consistently working in relationships with voters, improving the quality of supervising and surveying activities, better issuing Resolutions, and actively contributing to the development of multifaceted fields in the province.

However, according to Mr To Hung Khoa, Vice Head of the Lang Son provincial People’s Council, some Resolutions did not meet the demand of the current situation, thus effecting the investigation operation of Departments.

In the coming time, the People’s Council should continue renovating its operation in working sections, encouraging members to develop professionalism and knowledge in law-making, supervising, meeting with voters, and towards more deep operation.

During the session, Mr Pham Ngoc Thuong, Vice Secretary of Party Committee and Vice Head of provincial People’s Committee, was elected as new Head of provincial People’s Committee, with 78.43% of votes in favour./.
