Month of payment of gratitude

To mark 69th year of the Day for Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs (July 27th), authorities and unions in Ho Chi Minh city have carried out diverse activities to show gratitude to beneficiary families and to commemorate heroic martyrs.
In particular, over 80 people from popularization and education agencies as well as press agencies in Ho Chi Minh city travelled over 1,000 kilometres to commemorate heroic martyrs sacrificed on historic battlefields in the 2 Central Highlands provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum during the resistance wars against the French and American invaders.
The delegation presented 2 charitable houses, welfare constructions and over 200 presents and scholarships to beneficiary families, ethnic minority families and poor pupils gaining excellent academic results.
The delegation reports work to President Ho Chi Minh in a square in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.
