Que Phong, a mountainous and border district of the central province of Nghe An, is inhabited by mainly ethnic minority people (90% of the district’s population). Each group of people has their own traditional and typical agricultural and breeding products.
To help local residents consume their products, the district has increased the dissemination of information about the products, linked with other localities and enterprises, and set up stalls introducing the products, opening new ways for the groups’ specialties to find markets and encouraging the people to increase productivity, improving their income and boosting poverty reduction.
