Before reporting to Uncle Ho, the 124 outstanding young party members held a minute of silence to commemorate late Cuban President Fidel Castro, who is a comrade, great friend and close brother of the leaders and people of Vietnam.
At the K9-Da Chong historical relic site, the 124 outstanding young Party members of Hanoi in 2016 reported the excellent achievements in learning, teaching, scientific research, production, volunteering for the community; and fighting to protect the nation to Uncle Ho. This is also an opportunity for the young people to represent their steadfast determination to follow the path of revolution that the Party, Uncle Ho and the people have chosen.
At the ceremony, the young Party members inscribed the great merit of Uncle Ho, a great communist and hero of the nation who tirelessly fought and devoted all his life for the motherland, for the people, for the communist ideal, for independence, freedom of the peoples, for peace and justice in the world.
Following his example, the young Party members of Hanoi have attempted to study and practised to actively participate in activities of Youth Union and associations to gain outstanding achievements in learning, teaching, science research, production and volunteering for the community; in fighting to build and protect the country; to be model Party members in implementing the guidelines and policies of the Party and State. The young generation today always inscribes Uncle Ho’s instructions with all affection and faith in future generations, who inherit the cause of building socialism.
The young Party members promised to do as the saying of Uncle Ho in the Letter to the youth on August 17th, 1947: "Youth are the future owners of the country. Indeed, our country will prosperous or decline, weak or strong, largely due to the youth. Young people, who want to be worthy masters of the future, must practice their spirit and forces at the present, must work to prepare for that future."
“We promise to incessantly study, cultivate revolutionary morality, engrave and implement the teachings of Uncle Ho for the youth to follow the previous generations to continue writing the glorious history of the nation, forward under the flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the path of revolution that the Party and Uncle Ho have chosen, contributing their efforts to build the capital of civilization - modernity, and the prosperous nation,” said Mr. Vu Hung Quan, from the Hanoi Youth Union./.
