Sufficient power supply for APEC meetings

The Hanoi Power Corporation (EVN HANOI) is ready to ensure power supply to serve the 2nd APEC Senior Officials Meeting (SOM 2) and related meetings, which are taking place from May 9th-21st.

Accordingly, EVN HANOI will not conduct electricity cuts until May 22
nd in areas where the meetings are being held, as well as along roads serving delegations before and during the meeting.
The Corporation plans to ensure continuous power supply for the My Dinh National Convention Centre, and hotels where delegates and guests stay. In the press centre, mass media agencies are provided power from official and another preventive sources.
In addition, power workers are on duty around the clock during the time that the meetings are held, to deal with any possible power breakdowns./.
