Presenting study equipment to Canon - Bai Son friendship primary school

The Japanese Company selected Canon - Bai Son friendship primary school as the first destination of this year’s journey on improving the studying environment for pupils - the future owners of the country, and making advances of cultivating the human resources for country development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Minoru Niimura - Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd Deputy General Director, said: "Children are like raw gems which are not polished yet; a sustainable education system will help to polish these raw gems into bright gems. Being aware of it, we desire to help bring a good environment for pupils to study, develop and improve themselves, then, join hands with Vietnamese people to nurture talents - the future owners of the country and build an education system more sustainably. We hope that with our modest contribution, the pupils’ dreams and talents will be fulfilled.”

Headmaster of the school, Mr. Thai Khac Hong, expressed his thankfulness to the Company, saying that these gifts should create a strong impetus for teachers and pupils to obtain the best results in studying.

Earlier, from August 19th and 20th, some 50 volunteers of “Canon volunteer network of social & culture activities” joined to set up table/chair sets and clean up the environment around the school.

On this occasion, the Company also presented 270 gifts to local pupils./.
